The Uninvited Wildcard
The Uninvited Wildcard is a digital qualifying event for The Uninvited Invitational that gives our online community the opportunity to submit a 30–60 second reel showcasing their skills in the streets or terrain parks. There are no geographic limitations-if participants can make it to the finals, they’re welcome to compete.
The top submissions will receive an invitation to the finals, where they’ll ride alongside top snowboard athletes and compete for a $60k cash prize purse and global recognition.

Posting: Post your reel on your IG grid (not Stories) and tag @the__uninvited, @slushthemagazine
Age: Must be 13 by April 8, 2026.
Footage: Must be filmed between January 2024 and January 2026.
Duration: Reels must be 30–60 seconds.
Hashtag: Use #UNINVITEDWILDCARD2026 in the caption
Profile: Your IG profile must be public.
Fresh Content: No reused clips if you entered last year.
Jibs only: Jumps will not be considered for judges decision.
SUBMISSION WINDOW
January 12, 2026, at 9:00 AM PST – February 9, 2026, at 11:00 PM PST
SELECTED RIDERS:
Selected riders will be notified by February 14th 2026
Selected Riders are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements
Lift tickets will be provided free of charge to selected riders
Selected Riders must be available for the entire duration of the competition (April 8 at 6pm until April 11 at 4pm). Community ride day on April 12 is optional.
Number of Wildcard spots determined by the number of entries and calibre of riding, at The Uninvited selection committee’s discretion
Judging Criteria
Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on:
"Wow" Factor
What makes you stand out?
Weighted
Consideration
Street clips can be weighted higher than park.
Are you consistently completing features? Are your boardslides hitting 90 degrees? Are your 270s/360s smooth and precise?
Control
How aware, intentional, and smooth is your body movement?
Style
Does your trick list stand out from others?
Trick Selection
Ride-on features won’t count. For safety, we need to see your capability on medium-to-extra-large features.
